WillThanks, didn't read the fine print. I skimmed to the link to find out the price. I'll probably forget about this by then, but at least they give a little forewarning, I guess. I'd "request" for a reminder, but without any knowledge of the pricing, I think this is confusing and a bit of click-bait.
Please input such extremely pertinent info on future emails or on the page. Pricing is kind of important if I want to buy something or pay attention to it.
hittingrayNot really an ass, but it's not even close to where the price usually is. There's a big "DROP INACTIVE" where it normally is. So that is a bit confusing. I should read every bit of print, but there's a ton of text when I've been conditioned to scroll to the bullet points on this site. Thanks for the heads up.
hittingrayAlso, I just started following the headphone community on this site. Doing announcements in a certain way doesn't mean they can't possibly be improved upon. But once again, thanks for the heads up. Two clicks and a scroll are needed for checking a price, I'll just get used to it, not exactly the hardest thing to do.
PandemosYeh, normally for the popular drops they put out a heads-up sort of announcement so they don't get flak for it later. You're not wrong though that they should probably have the price in the usual spot, but the box in the description being highlighted a different colour is a start. I guess the reason they don't have it there is that people will think it is dropping right then, but maybe they could grey out the number or something else.
PandemosI mean... at least they put it in a big blue box by being itself. I had checked the HD6XX drop at the time I got the email that the drop was active, and it was sold out. I knew the drop was coming because I had gotten a preview email for it like you got for this PC 37X, but I had decided I would stick with my HD800 and let others have the super-well-priced deal.
