What are the specs on the pocket fabric? Often the downfall of an otherwise decent pack is poor durability on pocket mesh.

craigeThe pocket material is on average. It's not burly and won't stand up to to being abusive with it.
This is not a 3-4 pound pack that you can treat however you want.
Treated well, and it will treat you well back.

AaronSorensenIs it for example similar to the powermesh that quest sells and is usually used in bras? Or more like a 6-10oz stretch woven that'll take a bit more abuse?
I get that, and I treat my UL gear well, but seeing as side pockets and pack bottom are two of the highest wear areas on a pack, and you've chosen to go with a 9oz fabric (similar weight league to 500D) I'd expect the bottom and side pockets to have a reasonably durable fabric, otherwise why not go with a 3oz main fabric and use more burly stretch pocket fabric? Actually, a lot of 3-4lb packs use 500D nylon, which is usually around 7-8oz/y with a pu coating so you've actually went heavier and no coating then skimped in high wear areas?

craigeI'm aware of the power mesh Quest sells. I did not source this mesh, so my guess would be closer to a 5oz mesh.
The 210d fabric is not that heavy. Massdrop is using a 9 ounce weight yarn strength on this pack. I think mil factories must state this as an importance to them?
Best guess on the fabric weigh would be around 4 - 4.5 ounces per yard.
I know Six Moon Designs now makes their 30 liter fastback with this rabric.
