evvignesI think he means you could have spent that money on your AARP membership instead of buying an overpriced, boring, tired and bulky old mans knife that was cool and innovative in maybe 1996.
RobotsWTFHinderer knives are really nice knives in their own right. For many people, how smoothly a knife blade drops shot into it's closed position is the most important, defining feature. Other people want a tool that will still function reliably even after it's been dropped in the mud a few times. Neither group is "wrong" per say, just keep in mind that Rick Hinderer makes knives for soldiers and fire fighters, not software engineers or market analysts (i.e. hobbyists with money to burn who want to appreciate precision machining and artistic tastes).
tortoisetoiletI get where you’re coming from. I tried the multi row ceramic ball bearing techno flippers and I like them, but the Sebenza keeps finding its way into my pocket. Same with Hinderer and Strider. There’s reasons these knives are icons and continue to sell well year after year.
twelvehourpowernap323I wish this meme would stop. He doesn't make them for firefighters, cops, and soldiers. How freaking stupid can you be to believe that?
