Fantastic in every way. Love this knife.

Great knife! The finish and action are perfect. I have wanted a small edc with a little flair, and this fits perfectly! I also carry a leatherman wave to do the "dirty" work. The price is high, but worth every penny! I wanted something unique and special!

Amazing knife great action and really fun flick. Only downsides overall are a few hot spots. Specifically when opening the blade the chamfer in one of the cutouts can hurt. And when closing the bottom of the handle can dig in to your hands. Additionally the pocket clip is very pointy and can hurt when you are holding the knife. All that aside this knife is definitely worth the price. the manufacturing and design are top notch, and it slices great. Once worn in the knife opens and closes so easily, and hot spots are imperceptible anymore.

Great item. In the name of art appreciation, there are a couple of prominent hot spots to be dealt with and I am struggling with the burden. The tip of pocket clip and the tip end of handle/frame where it rides above pocket when carrying, are sharp and prominent. That said, the knife is beautiful, action is smooth and fine. The blade came sharp and blade steel is very good. Complainers, whining that it is not, in their opinion, a sufficiently ‘super’ steel may want to consider that this not a hard work knife, but an example of fine knife art. I probably wouldn’t have bought it if I hadn’t lucked into it at the brief sale price but I am stoked to own it and I’ll get over the hot spots.

The fit and finish on this knife is just amazing. The action is superb, with a drop shut close. Overall, one of the best knives in my collection to date.

I'm afraid this one just wasn't for me. I didn't like the angles in the grip, and the detent was too strong. The knife was well made and seemed to be good quality just not for me.

Incredibly well made knife with a stellar deployment mechanism. Couldn't be happier with my purchase...

Solid, sturdy knife with a satisfying opening mechanic.

Very solid knife, quality seems great, feels great, very smooth action (typically can open in one go with my middle finger using the hole in the blade) and I really like the shape. I don't carry it, I prefer balisongs, but if I did I think I would have a slight issue with the clip, the knife would most likely poke out too much for my liking and it's also a pretty bulky knife, depending on how you have your EDC arranged it might or might not fit in. All in all a great knife from a collector's point of view and from what I see it should be a great knife to use.

I really love this knife, my typical use for a pocket knife is at least 60% kitchen tasks. This knife is great with a pinch grip and the blade being below the handle means that you can really get the blade onto a cutting board. The sharp tip is great for cutting things open and he knife is awesome looking. The only things I’d wish for is a little thinner stock and m390 or even LC200n steel. The fact that this was on sale for a lot less than usual really makes this a useable piece of art.

Possibly the best knife I own atm. Love the middle finger deployment. Was sceptical when I first got it, but after a few days of practicing it's become quite natural now. Design is beautiful, something about the lines and curves that just makes me keep looking at it. Cuts easily, nicely centered when closed, has a nice detent, and is comfortable in hand when applying pressure. No major or minor faults so far! Love it!

Great handle, love th cutouts. They do catch pocket lint, but easy to clean. Blade is very slicy, no problems yet with rust or other metal degradation. Not super easy to deploy (re flipper), but for a blade hole opener, easy to deploy. Appearance is very different, love the handle and blade shape combo.

Very happy, my favorite knife so far. High quality, centered blade, looks amazing and also love middle finger flick.

I love this knife. Super easy to finger flick, closes so smoothly, perfect centering, the black blade coating is very tough and it's ultra sharp. I've had it for a few months now and I think I like it now even more than the day I got it. I have other knives in this price range but this one exceeds them by far. Canadians, expect to pay about another $80 on top of everything to get it to your door, that's if it makes it through border services.

Absolutely amazing execution of tashi's design made even more excellent by the availability and price. All around great knife, wish I could justify buying another one because I definitely would if I could.

First impressions only: Beautiful action, feels perfect in my hand, balanced, light.
I have no idea how well the edge will wear, etc.

Love it!Bit hesitant toorder based on handle ,the action isgreat handle feels great in hand.

One of my favorite knives. Action is smooth as butter. Edge retention is great, but not a pain in the ass to sharpen. I highly recommend it.

So why a 5-Star rating?
Well, the day after receiving a blue one (perfectly wonderful, in every way - design, materials, execution, and typical terrific Massdrop service), I decided to order a black one as well.
Not neccessarily my smartest purchasing decision ever, but very much a wise one - this is truly a superb knife!
Enjoy!

I wish the blue handled knife had a satin blade. I went with the grey and once I get consistent results home anodizing titanium I will anodize it blue myself.

This knife has the fit and finish of a $500 knife. Amazing design, great materials, top notch manufacturing with a discount price. Best knife purchase of the year!

*UPDATE*
I love this knife so much I'm getting another one.

I waited as long as I could to write this review, I had several other midtech knives I wanted to get my hands on before I heaped praise upon this one. In short this knife is probably the best bang-for-my-buck blade I've ever purchased, the action is perfectly consistent and the dopamine rush you get from opening it with a finger flick only to have it perfectly glide to attention has yet to get old. Likewise on closing, the knife does what only my Kwaiback has been able to achieve which is fall perfectly under its own weight at a constant speed. If you're a fit and finish junkie this knife is a must. Only complaints are the pocket clip is a hotspot depending on grip angle, its not a huge deal and you adjust to it quickly. Other is perceived quality. I find myself more hesitant to carry this knife compared to some of my more expensive ones simply because of how nice it feels. I'll probably end up buying another just to combat this.
TL;DR: amazing knife that feels like a knife 2 or three times it's price point.

For the cost, this is an absolute knockout. The opening/closing action is easy and perfectly smooth, though it has dried out a bit now (after probably more than 2000 fidget deployments) and I need to oil the pivot. Not a major issue. The only imperfection I found was a small but obvious machining mark at the base of the blade. It's visible when the blade is open. Other than that, the finish was flawless. The knife feels good in the hand, if a bit small for me, and the clip works well. The blade was not hair-shaving sharp exactly, but it was very close, and the edge was nicely ground. I like the steel so far as well. It's held up well to some use breaking down cardboard and other light to medium duty stuff. Pretty much everything about this knife was either excellent, or at least very good. If you're interested in it, go ahead and buy it. It's worth the money.

I only have good things to say about this knife, so no need to elaborate.
I don't understand people having to open it with both hands. Mine opens very easily with the thumb or with the middle finger.

so very well made

The knife is beautiful. It handles great and feels light but strong. The action is buttery and I've already cut myself on the super sharp blade. I wish I could manipulate it more fluidly on opening (hence the 4 stars) but I still love it.

This knife and drop was perfection! Well done guys!
