Upon further review, I found that **"We Knife" is a Chinese knife manufacturer. Terzuola is not in control of these knives, so I opted out. I question whether a knife made in China would be considered a "collectible," even a Terzuola. Am I better off buying a Terzuola-inspired knife from a manufacturer that makes them here in the U.S.?
**Thank you for all of the replies below. I have done further research and all comments on website believe We Knives are legit, and that they feel they are a seriously high end company! I am back in.
mhwolfWE knife is a very reputable knife company from China. Even though China has a bad rep, many Chinese companies could rival US production and WE knife is definitely one of them. You should do some research on them.
mhwolfIf you're looking for a production knife to be "collectible" I hope you have a good 401k!
Production knives rarely gain value or collectible status. Buy it if you like it, use it, enjoy it.
WE Knife Company makes a darn fine knife so have no fear about fit/finish and quality issues. Massdrop backs it up with Stateside service and support.
If you're looking for a Terzuola collab at a similar price the only ones that come to mind are the Spyderco SLIPIT, Double Bevel and Starmate but they all are hard to find. None of these are made in the US either; all Taiwan or Japan.
mhwolfWE is producing amazing quality stuff and while their stuff is collectible, beauty here is you can make a Terzuola and EDC. Cause my $4000 ATCF custom is staying locked up!
mhwolfI'll never understand the hate for Chinese made knives. US knife manufacturers typically cost more for lesser or equal quality. For example look at an american made Kershaw as compared to any knife made by WE. Hell most of the materials used by these higher quality Chinese knife makers are sourced from the US (CPM steels being the most obvious and well known). Companies like Kizer, WE, and Bestech put forth a strong effort to make quality knives with quality materials at affordable prices.
If your argument is from a Domestic vs. Foreign purchase standpoint, be prepared to get less for your dollar.
MaxwellDemonicreally agree with you. Just take a look at the benchmade 940, it’s $180 on bladehq right now. Also this has s35 and The 940 has the slightly older s30. None of my massdrop WE knife collabs have any QC or fit finish issues. Benchmade is notorious for blade play or bad centering. I have all three of the FF collabs and ordered the buc too. None of them have any of the common issues benchmade is known for but many seem to forgive easily.
mhwolfThis is my favorite new discussion thread. I think it's really cool that our community shared this info with you, that you did some research on your own, and that you kept an open mind about all of it. Thanks for joining the drop!

DocZZZI do have a BM Infidel 10 year anniversary and it is phenomenal in Fit and Finish, but that is in a different league than the 940. You guys sold me on We Knives, and am anxious (like all of you) to get it in hand!
JonasHeinemanI totally agree with you Jonas. I've heard many people give similar opinions about "Chinese Knives" but none of them were open minded. They were totally unable to listen to reason unlike MhWolf. Good for you Wolf. I am sure you won't regret it ether. 👍✌
