FlipincanadianI understand your concern I was going through the same thing. I actually hadn't bought a knife for over a month after hearing about the insanity The CBSA is trying to pull off. Then I saw a wicket deal on The Toshi Bharucha / Gerry Mcginnis Rowdy here at MD so I looked into there policy on Border Seized knives. I was very pleased to hear unlike many of the smaller Dealers in the states there able to cover you if your knife is seized. Well that was all I needed to hear.π²π―πππ I was back in the game. I ordered that knife and several more. I can tell you I have ordered 3 knives from MD and received all 3 without incident not even duty taxes π As a fellow Canadian Knife Knut I can honestly say Massdrop is as good a way to buy knives from the US as it gets. I hope this helps. πβ Trevor
DocZZZCBSA will offer a few choices; the seized item can be forfeited to be destroyed, sent back to the sender if shipping is paid for, or you can choose to appeal CBSA's decision.
guvnorYes that's true and the price for return shipping isn't a normal amount ether. I was told they make you use a special shipping service that cost around $40 - $50 depending. That's why I wasn't buying any knives outside Canada until I found out Massdrop was willing to give you a full refund if your knife gets seized. With the crazy BS that The CBSA is putting Canadian knife Knuts through I was very pleased to hear this. The worst that can happen for the customer is you loose some time and receive a full refund. That's more than alot of The smaller Dealers can offer plus MD has alot of exclusive Colaberasion knives. Lol I know it sounds like it but I swear I don't work for MD I'm just a happy customer π
