Ares78I agree with most of your comment. I would give it a 2 out of 5, and have just returned mine for a full refund. I can understand production problems - they happen - but dishonesty and deception kill the deal for me.

Ares78I had all the same complaints you did, but I didn't want to give up on the knife as I still quite like the design. Luckily most of the issues were fixable without too much difficulty. Might be worth giving this a try:

Now let’s get to the bad and there are quite a few. I’m used to Massdrop and their colour discrepancy between marketing photos and the actual product but in this case the patina/dirty bronze finish on the hardware just isn’t great and detracts from what is otherwise a very clean design. The biggest problem so far is the ergonomics. The G10 is sharp all around and creates so many hot-spots. Due to the shape of the flipper tab and the bit of handle that hides it, it’s nearly impossible to choke up on the knife without seriously risking sliding up and slicing your finger. There are some other smaller things like I wish the pocket clip was positioned closer to the back for better deep carry.
If Massdrop ever plans an upgraded re-run here’s what I would change: -Add Tezuola back on to the knife -Round off corners of the handle -Change the finish of the hardware (from patina/dirty to high polish or something) -Add jimping to the back side of the flipper tab to help with choking up
Overall I think Massdrop really dropped the ball here and it’s just not my cup of tea. I give this knife a 3/5.
