KnutI wonder how similar the monoprice amp is to this one, though. The monoprice description states that it's 1.5W/channel (along with a lower-power wallwart). Also, Dirac Sensaround is available with both analog and digital inputs, which makes me think the analog inputs are sent through an ADC, and volume is controlled digitally. Can you strip the dac out of that and still say it's the same thing?

If this amp sounds 50% as good as it measures, it will replace B&O Icepower as the best-value modular amplifier.
What I'm not exactly sure about yet is whether this is the bga implementation... I'm feeling likely not (hoping anyways).

BobthedespotWell, I'd be listening at -60dB on the monoprice (not so great with digital volume), but I guess most people wouldn't be that low.
