Looks like a really pretty amp, and I am a personal fan of feed-forward topologies. Excited to see how these sound.
Who does the manufacturing? Is this made in USA, China, or Singapore? Since Razer owns the THX brand, how did that show up here? Is this a product designed by razer or the guys at THX? So who supports this product?
I have absolutely ZERO respect for razer (for gamers, by gamers) when it comes to technical support and corporate integrity. From their thermal issues, to their power issues, to their straight up lies (in the name of marketing)......

BobthedespotWant to know this myself. TBH I have low confidence on Massdrop manufacturering process. OEM factory with little to no supervision. One example is their O2, which comes with a walwart that does not meet spec

uloginI'm not going to bash their manufacturing process, since some amazing production facilities are quite ghetto/sketch.
Focal has their top-of-the-line drivers handmade by disabled people for crying out loud... just because Massdrop isn't Apple, doesn't mean that they can't deliver an excellent product.
I'm way more concerned by pseudo-scientific babble claiming to be "audiophile" grade. A large chunck of the THX web pages talking about the THX AAA topology is just wrong. Not even debatable stuff. Just flat wrong. I'm chalking it up to an inexperienced web dev.
If the website is accurate, this amp will sound harsher than a saturated Class-D amp. I personally doubt that THX just re-purposed a 1980's subwoofer amp topology and added extra rails for the transient peaks in the high-frequency range.

Bobthedespotmy 2 cavelli/massdrop amps (cth and lcx neither with dac) say they will be here tomm. depending on how those look will determine if i buy this one. i do think i will at this point especially since it matches the form factor of those which is def pretty sweet. once i get to inspect those ill decide.
Bobthedespot@Bobthedespot "... harsher than a saturated Class-D amp"... nothing could be further from the truth. I know the proof is in the listening and I'm confident you'll be thoroughly impressed. (just closing the loop here on your comment for the sake of new people to this thread)

AndrewMasonBut the website still needs fixing.
And following up, THX Ltd is owned by Razer. I don't know that this is definitely an issue, but time will tell what happens.
Min-Ling Tan sucks according to almost everyone... whether he can tank THX by forcing engineering to compromise integrity remains yet to be seen.
