damxLike all these Massdrop custom products, they are manufactured in China. However that doesnt mean quality is bad. There is a lot of very top grade audio gear that is made in China. These factories have really stepped up their game the past decade or so. I would honestly trust a Chinese factory more than most other places in the world. The workers have laser focus on their job

EniGmA1987The only thing I have (from my audiophile gear )made in PRC and it is both original(in terms that they actually did some R&D and not just copy ) and well built is my Colourfly C4 . All the rest is USA, Germany , New Zealand , S Korea and more recently ,thanks to Mass drop , Poland.
So either you have an American company producing super cheap there or Chinese companies that have no R&D (or they have now after years and years have copied the W ones).
It may well not be the any of cases here but this is how I feel about this .
Make the damn product in a country that has proper worker protection and doesn't do all the crap that chines gov does.

damxThat's not how humans work. Maybe we should figure out why Americans have to spend so much more on education and health care than most other Western countries. And on elections. *hint hint*
Lower those, and people's salaries cost less without any loss of quality of life, while raising global competitiveness.
