Already had put in an order before reading here now I have deleted it.
Not going to pay for a 3rd rate dye-subs without the organizer here on MassDrop, guaranteeing their quality. So far it's been silent like a church grave with no one answering our concerns for this product.
Keep it up then you'll be lucky if anyone in the future will buy this off you.......
Most definitely, mainly due to the fact that most recipients laying in their graves at a Church, have died about 150+ years ago, so their families are probably long gone hence no visitors to disturb them.
Also in most Church Graves the only visitors they get now are stray dogs and cats who urinate and deposit their stuff everywhere.
catweeweweIf one looked closely, you can actually see that issue on the photos on the description page.
Really hoping their QC issue has been fixed this round.
ViraShould really ask MassDrop what they will do about it because getting faulty key-caps, being misaligned is important here and is never tolerated on Geekhack or DT.
Either MD steps up to replace them or best walk away from this Group Buy. Not worth wasting your money here if MD doesn't care about QUALITY with dye-subbed key-caps.
I've messaged Massdrop CS regarding the missing Steel keycap puller, which I really need, because my default ducky that came with the KB does not grip properly and scratches the Master control Keycaps. However it's been close to a week and they have not been replying regarding this issue. Kinda sad.
Got 2 sets, one of each color. Overall the quality is good, but both of them have the misaligned numbers (don't care as it is barely noticeable) and both lacked the keycap puller. Installed the grey ones in my filco majestouch 2 (ninja, tenkeyless) and the spacebar is working fine.
Keycaps are thick (maybe not Leopold thick but feel good nonetheless), printing is readable and I had no trouble installing them. I liked the fact that the stabilized keys have the front part slightly thinner so I doesn't interfere with Costar stabilizers. Both spacebars are also flat (no curvature at all) bu with small cracks in the back (see photo) which don't represent a real problem IMO. Packaging was the common foam tray and each set came inside its own box, so that probably protected the keycaps from shipping damage.
Had to pay import duty on my order but that was expected. Wouldn't be a problem not having the keycap pullers, except that I paid for them. In that matter, given the quality and issues this set could be slightly cheaper compared to other high quality pbt sets you can find out there.
I received my drop today. I'm missing the keycap puller, and the numbers are misaligned. I had to pay extra custom fees too (Canada). Kinda disapointing. It is also a bit darker than the pictures show (just slightly, doesn't bother me). The stabilized keys are fine on my quickfire cm storm.
Got mine in today, no keycap puller, and all the stabilized keys (shift, enter, spacebar) don't work. The stabilized parts are either sticky or come off completely when pressing the keys on numerous keyboards that I own.
Also, my number row is misaligned, much like @Konsumkultur 's photo below.
