Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the MasterPiece Thread Collection and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 12/14.

The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided, these are scheduled to come in 10/14. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.

Anyone know if the spools have that annoying slice to grab the thread end? I'm hooked on Aurifil because I love their spools with the end cap that pops off, nothing to catch. But I've been wanting to try Masterpiece thread.
eta: The flat end cap does pop off so you can use it to secure the thread end, no annoying slice, or you can use the groove where cap meets spool to grab your thread without taking the cap off at all. Needle size is listed on the cap - how fabulous.

MayMaySorry my point to you actually was, if the Superiors do have the "slice", it may be ok to load the spool with that end "in" [or as they said in the store, "Load it 'butt end first'."

I hate the slice for storage, my hands are weak and I never can get the thread in or out of it. I thought my old machine was broken before I learned that slice catches thread! Oh the little details in sewing are indeed big! The Aurifil cap comes off, and for storage you can lay the thread across and pop the cap back on - very nifty. The photo on this drop looks like the thread end is stuck under some kind of cap. I'm considering this a "try me" purchase, so I'll just get the cones next time if I love the thread. I priced those little spools I used to buy at chain sewing stores ...they are way more expensive per yard and I was always running out.

We’ve submitted our order for MasterPiece Thread Collection shortly after the drop ended.
Now that the order has been placed, our vendor is preparing it for shipment. In the meantime, we will also be getting our warehouse ready to handle the reshipment of the product to everyone as soon as it arrives.
Expect an update on Friday or sooner if something comes up.
