Mechanical Keyboard Sound Isn't That Simple

Looking back just a few years ago, there’s no doubt that the huge influx of people that joined the hobby at the peak of the COVID pandemic were drawn to keyboards by way of YouTube, TikTok, and other audio-visual content platforms. Even as the output from these content creators has waned in recent months, their collective impact and legacy on the keyboard hobby is rather firmly etched in the history books. As a result of all of their sound tests, build logs, and opinion videos, the message is clear to any new person joining the hobby: mechanical keyboards are all about the sound. I've come to really like it. I still use my Ergodox mostly, but the Ergodox is so thumb heavy that my thumbs tire out and I need to use something that allows to me relax my thumbs a bit. The Ergo Pro does that for me. The modifier keys are ridiculously oversized to allow you to press it with the edge of your palm so I can do that instead of holding down a modifier key with my thumb.
I still have problems with keys double or triple actuating. Some switches just are prone to doing that, but it's pretty easy to fix. Removing the keycap and putting to back on seems to rattle the switch enough to reset it.
