I, too, was a bit concerned with the low beat rate of this beautiful Maurice Lacroix masterpiece Lune Retrograde with their "in house" ML192 movement. I have the good fortune of having a friend who is a Swiss watchmaker, working with both hi and low beat models. After doing some research on this specific movement, he had absolutely no reservation in giving me the go ahead in purchasing this timepiece. In his extensive experience, he has found that many higher end low beat movements (such as the ML192) have excellent accuracy rates, some of which are more accurate than the higher beat models. Furthermore, he says, they are less finicky, easier to repair and adjust and have a better longevity history. He was sold, and I think I am as well. I hope my report helps alleviate some of the concerns expressed by some.
