Aesthetically, the Mcusta M-16 Bushi is hard to miss. Its 3.25-inch blade is made from 33-layer nickel Damascus with a VG-10 core, which delivers good edge retention and resistance to wear. Dimpling toward the spine creates an almost lunar look, glimmering in the light when held at different angles. Blade deployment is smooth and easy: Simply press one of the dual thumb studs. The anodized aluminum handle is heavy enough for a solid grip in the hand, but light enough that it won’t bog you down—and it’s cut with X-shaped grooves for grip. The folder’s tower-shaped pocket clip is curved to align itself with the handle, creating a streamlined profile.
