The MC-12 from Mcusta is one of the company’s most popular models. This version is even more of a standout thanks to its damascus blade and handcrafted wood scales. Made in Japan’s cutlery capital, Seki City, the Mcusta MC-12 Tactility Elite features a 3.6-inch blade made from 33-layer nickel damascus with a VG-10 core. The handle—available in smooth burl wood or ironwood—is cut with undulating grooves for grip and a comfy feel in the hand. Deploy the blade by pressing the dual thumb studs. A V-shaped pocket clip rests on the very bottom of the handle, a distinct design that supports deep tip-up carry for righties and lefties.
Note: At checkout, choose burl wood or ironwood. Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we can only ship this knife to select countries. Since the mid-13th century, Seki City has been the cutlery hub of Japan. Thanks to its close proximity to rich sources of iron sand, charcoal, and water, it was a natural choice for skilled craftsman of old, and remains so today. Mcusta, located in Seki City, blends traditional artistry with modern technology. Each of its knives is laser cut, CNC machined, and assembled and finished by hand to ensure the utmost quality.
