These are truly well made handsome as can be knives. They feel good in the hand with no hot spots. There are a number of variations from the handle to the blades. I love them all. I collect more then using them as a work horse but I am sure they r tuff and can take on most tasks thrown at them.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with the knife, but the quality of hardware is not really up to required standards. The pivot screws are round in a round hole, which makes it incredibly difficult to take apart to clean, let alone adjust opening strength. I had to grind a slot into the back of the pivot to get a flat head screw driver to brace against. The washers are made of some unknown, black material that doesn't give a very good friction coefficient for nice opening. Even lubed, it's quite grabby and hard to open. Certainly doesn't flick open nicely. On the plus side, the handle has a great, comfortable shape and the VG-10 blade came shaving sharp from the factory and the damascus pattern is very pretty.

This is a gorgeous knife and a work horse. I used it daily as a plumber. I did baby it and have a cheap-o for anything that could damage the blade. I have temporarily retired it because the sheath wore out.
