Mcusta knives are amazing. One of the designers is a professional bmx rider. I had a nice chat with him many years ago. I owned 3 with the thumb hole.
If you flick your wrist with enough force the blade comes out. Really quick draw with these babys

hackedAll the Mcusta knives I've owned have had issues with the washers and and mechanism after a few years of owning them, with the lock loosening and blade becoming dangerous to carry. My MC-12 lost all lock and would swing freely like a one dimensional balisong as well as the thumb stud loosing tack and uncrewing just from EDC. I own a Chris Reeve Sebenza that I am much happier with now after giving up trying to maintain the Mcusta.

At 3x or 5x the price, I sure _hope_ a Sebenza gives you better service. Me, I might just be looking for some brass washers to replace the nylon, and maybe some loctite, for the Mcusta...

I've got two, and the vg-10 is great steel. I find the knives offer great value and are dependable.
