I picked up one of these from PAX West back in September and I am impressive with how well it works, even with some of my very heavy metal dice.
These are not too bad. However I make them, personalizing them, putting the D and D "&", different dice , etc. in the middles. So far the favorites are the 20 sided . They can be done in different colors and fabrics. The gamers in town seem to really like them, both D&D and magic both.
these are really nice. i have the blue and black and they make great middle-of-the-table trays for dnd. i almost wish i had one just like it but about half size, to go behind the dm screen.

Not to steal business away from massdrop the first dice tray I bought for DnD was from this website. About the same length as one side of this dice tray but half on the width. Not as velvety for the softness but still a great dice tray!

Really good valet tray I am in for more.
Commenting again because I see its back. I grabbed the purple and blue trays last time and I love them. The velvet is soft but durable which is key seeing as a few friends and I roll metal and gemstone dice. They're pretty big when folded so good for sharing and when flattened they take up just as much space as a folder in my backpack.

Thanks for the info - was considering this drop and you pushed me over the edge :)
Why did this end? There were still 3+ days left, and nowhere in the description does it indicate that quantities were limited.

I'd like to know this too! Came back to pick this up and now I'm disappointed :(

I'm wondering this as well. I got an email about this item <24 hours ago and it's sold out with nothing to identify a limited quantity?
Interesting. When you go to join drop Option 1 says black is sold out, while Option 2 doesn't and lets you select black. I wanted blue and purple so it doesn't affect me but I wanted to point that out.
What are the dimensions when it is folded up?
Every place I've looked online has these trays for about $16 each with rave reviews. You can get the similar but cheap looking and smaller 7"x7"Gameland brand trays on eBay starting around $12 each. Since this drop is for two trays for $19.99 with free shipping I think it's a no-brainer if you are in the market for dice trays. Remember, these are big 10"x10" trays and the velvet lining keeps your dice rolling noise down to a minimum. That they fold up to store away is nice, much better than the wooden tray I've been using that is awkward in my backpack.
Can anyone speak for the quality of these? Are these sturdy enough to stand up to multiple uses without the snaps failing?
Is there an option to get this WITHOUT the MDG logo?
What advantage does this give over any other valet trays? Or is it really just a valet tray repurposed for dice rolling?

I'd say size and price. You can find cheaper trays, but not this size with nice velvet to dampen the dice noise. And you'd be hard pressed to find two for $20 shipped.

I have a similar tray I use when I'm on the go. The main purpose I bought it for is not to scratch up my DM's table with metal dice.
