I believe, overall, that the function of the dice should take priority. Yes, this is a product catering to it's own aesthetics... but I think the visibility of the numbers is a big issue here.
Though I haven't seen these in person, I've purchased a plethora of dice overtime, and have ended up only using the ones I can read clearly. This is especially true if you want to use the d20 as a Life Counter(MTG). These look pretty cool, but I don't think I would use them.
