Just received this and tried them out on my Campfire Audio iems. The adapters work great, and are undoubtedly the best feature of the product. The MMCX connectors, on the other hand, have been really loose and unreliable. The MMCX joint is not able to form a tight connection with the iems, and the sound cuts out intermittently whenever I slightly move my head. Anyone else having this problem?

switchstyle123I have a cable from MEE. It's 3.5mm but the cable itself looks identical. I got them for my Nuforce Primo 8's. The connection is better(sounds better too) than the stock cable but does not solve the common right connector problem. The cable has a flaky connection to my campfire comets, but the Comet's cable is super secure on the Primo 8's. Hope that is helpful and understandable.

DroolSo if I understand you correctly, the issue with the flaky mmcx connectors on the MEE cable is pretty common - and therefore is not a manufacturing defect? That is sad to hear, because I actually like the way they sound...

switchstyle123it may just be a compatibility issue with CA iems. I don't think people are usually switching the cable on those since they're high end cables. The flaky connector on the Primo 8 is a notorious problem. I haven't tried the MEE connector on any other iems but people haven't complained about it in the reviews.

GLYNYeah this cable definitely has issues. No wonder MD is hawking them about at such a discounted price...

DroolNope I don't have any other IEMs with MMCX connectors. In my case the problem only happens on the right side... the left side is perfectly fine.

GLYNvery strange... there must be some kind of right connector conspiracy going on

DroolI tried them with my Shure IEMs after seeing your comment, and to be fair, they do seem to work fine with the SE215s (connection is secure). So maybe it's a compatibility issue? In any case, I think I will hold on to mine for the time being and use them as a back-up.
