For those not happy with the A151p's sound, I suggest boasting the sub-bass and treble on your music player. With a little EQ the A151p's actually have a nice strong bass response that doesn't muddy up the mids. I use Viper4Android on my rooted Galaxy S3 running Cyanogenmod 12.1.
Finding the right fitting ear tips also helps. I've found that both the M-Duo and A151p fit and sound best for me using the included bi-flange tips. It's a bit surprising how much the sound quality changes going from the pre-installed single flange to the bi-flange. I encourage you guys to experiment a little.

Nhan@Nhan I agree. A little work on Viper4Android will make any of these IEMs will sound a lot better. I got the M Duos and they sound a lot better since I flashed V4A. The M Duos also get pretty load on my OnePlus One.

NhanI also received the A151P 2G, which is really the pair I was hoping to get. However, initial impressions were definitely meh, using the pre-installed medium single flange tips. Seemed like it totally lacked any sort of low end. I tried the tri-flange, but those went very deep (like my shooting ear plugs), but were definitely uncomfortable. I then tried the bi-flange, and the small single flange. Some helped the sound a bit, but I felt it was still lacking. At this point, I was kind wishing I'd have received the M-Duo.
So, I ended up back at the medium single flange, but I used the guide here: http://www.innerfidelity.com/content/ultimate-headphone-guide-articles-how-insert-ear-monitors#TFYeEuPBCAD4u9pu.97
Inserting them this way (by pulling back my ear), I ended up with a much better seal and the sound improved greatly. What was so odd, the other tips seemed to seal since I could feel the pressure in my ear when I'd move my jaw or yawn, but it must not have been a complete seal. With the better seal, the bass is definitely more noticeable, and the IEMs sound much more balanced. The bass still doesn't have a ton of kick, but it sounds good.
Overall, a keeper. I'm glad I joined the drop. The A151P 2G are my first balanced armature IEMs, and it's nice to hear a variety of IEM designs.
TL;DR, definitely try all the ear tips and try the IEM insertion instructions provided by Tyll.
