My thoughts: In a search to find a suitable replacement for my go to "cheap" headphones (Skull Candy Titans) I purchased several different brands and models of headphones to try out. I have used the Titans as my everyday carry for many years and although I own a few pairs of higher end in-ears, I feel that the Titans have been a great balance of above average sound quality, ruggedness, sound isolation and price. A while back on Amazon while trying to burn through some gift cards I noticed that Skull Candy no longer sells my beloved Titan. Enter the MEE Audio Sport-Fi M6...I purchased the MEE's, Brainwavz and the Hifiman 350's here on Massdrop and aside from the Brainwavs I have been pleasantly surprised. The MEE M6 sounds very similar to the Titans. The bottom end might be a little roomier and the sound isolation is great. Overall these M6's are a great cheap set of in-ears. The only disappointment with the MEE purchase is that after doing a quick Google search I realize now I can purchase them cheaper (with no wait) from several other outlets (not Massdrop)...Bummer. I am happy with the MEE Audio M6 and mostly happy with the Hifiman HE-350. The Brainwavs are garbage. The packaging is nice, cases and plenty of tips are included, and until you hear them everything seems good. Sadly, they (Brainwavz) sound terrible. Hope this all helps somebody!
