This is a strange light at this price point and performance, no 14500 support and not enough support for copper either. For this price one could get an Eagletac D25A Ti which can run on a 14500 or AA and pulls this kind of performance out of the Nichia 219 despite lower emitter efficiency, which is a much more desirable option with better tint and CRI, or higher ouput with an XP-L. Plus the Eagletac has a screw on clip instead of one of these loose-your-light clips. I don't see this drop being successful.
