ArchertroyBoth work very well, the mendo having some unique features such as curved shears (preventing buildup on a hard edge), a curved screen, and some well faceted edges to grip. Mendo also grinds to a higher grit and doesn't have an anodized finish to chip off. The space case has a more effective triangle pick, as well as a plastic washer that keeps friction from ever getting too high. All in all, both function quite well, but I'd recommend the mendo. Prices do seem to go up though, as I paid $40 after shipping 5 years back for a 2.25" MM,
ArchertroyBiggest difference between them in my opinion is the buildup. My friend has a Space Case that could use some cleaning. I've used my Mendo Mulcher nearly every day for seven months. No buildup anywhere. As a result of material not getting stuck in various places around the grinder, you also get a lot of pollen.
Archertroythis one is cheaper and will most likely drop in the next month or so. Plus it's made in America, your money going into the American market will sorta help with their economy
