While this is a nice watch, there was just a drop for the Mercer Voyager a week ago which is almost the same as this. Massdrop needs to get different brands. It's always the same brands constantly. Victorinox, seiko, orient, mercer, panzera, glycine, for the most part. Some more variety would be much appreciated.

ItsrainingVery much agree. The same tired brands every time. Not only the brand but the watch as well. How many times do we need to have drops for Glycine Combat Sub or Seiko Fifty Fathoms? And what does it say about the brand?

GarcucaYeah it's ridiculous. I like Glycine a lot, I have a few. But Massdrop is making me get sick of them. And personally I don't like anything about Seiko so if I never saw another one on here I'd be ok with it. Just personal preference. It's like watching the same 6 UFC fighters goin at it week after week. There's so many Damn watch brands out there too. It makes me think that either massdrop just has a nice kickback from these select few brands or the people voting are very inexperienced in the watch industry.

ItsrainingI think both, the kickbacks and the inexperienced voters. You’re right, there are so many good brands and watches but the community here seems content with Seiko, Orient, and Victorinox. And when you see a microbrand like Mercer on here way too often it can’t be good. Sigh
Agree about Seiko. I can’t knock the quality but there are just too many models. Even though they are different they somehow all look the same. And all of them have an eyesore of a date window that ruins the aesthetic. So tired of seeing Seiko on here I may stop checking the site.

GarcucaIf they only offered seiko, I would be in heaven. I would be like that meme with that dog surrounded by bones and he is all happy. You know the one...

ItsrainingI'm sure Massdrop acts as a bit of a clearing house for brands that otherwise (in Mercer's case) might not sell a lot.

Glen8I couldn't agree more.
