Named for famous landmarks in the American Northeast, the Minus33 lightweight quarter-zip crew and matching bottom provide sun and insect protection in the spring and fall—and double as base layers for cross-country skiing and other cold-weather activities. The collection is made from 17.5-micron breathable merino wool, with a 170 g/m2 jersey-knit construction and flatlock seams to prevent chafing when you’re on the move. Unzip the chest zipper on the top to increase ventilation on balmy days, and zip it up for extra warmth when you need it.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice between the Minus33 Lightweight ¼ Zip Crew (Men’s Allagash or Women’s Liberty) or the Lightweight Bottom (Men’s Saratoga or Women’s Magalloway). All items are available in black only. Sizes are available in Men’s and Women’s XS – 3XL.
Merino wool keeps you warm in cold weather and cool in warm weather. Along with offering extra UV protection, it prevents overheating and clamminess by absorbing and releasing vapor. Plus, it’s naturally antibacterial and odor-resistant, so you can stretch an extra day (or two) out of your clothing when needed.
Founded in Ashland, New Hampshire in 1916, Minus33 makes high-quality performance apparel for outdoor enthusiasts. The staff (a bunch of outdoor enthusiasts themselves) test their products all over the state, in some of the country’s harshest weather—the CEO uses Minus33 merino wool in his hunting apparel, and the Senior Vice President in his mountain biking gear. Today, a century later, the company continues to uses the original mill site as its headquarters, though the products are made overseas.
