Named for New Hampshire’s majestic Lake Tarleton, the Minus33 Tarleton short-sleeve quarter-zip is designed to provide lightweight sun and insect protection in the summer months—and doubles as a base layer for ice fishing and other cold-weather activities. It’s made from 17.5-micron breathable merino wool, with a 170 g/m2 jersey-knit construction and flatlock seams to prevent chafing when you’re on the move. Unzip the quarter-length chest zipper to increase ventilation on a hot day, and zip it up for extra warmth when you need it.

Merino wool keeps you warm in cold weather and cool in warm weather. Along with offering extra UV protection, it prevents overheating and clamminess by absorbing and releasing vapor. Plus, it’s naturally antibacterial and odor-resistant, so you can stretch an extra day (or two) out of your shirt when needed.
Founded in Ashland, New Hampshire in 1916, Minus33 makes high-quality performance apparel for outdoor enthusiasts. The staff (a bunch of outdoor enthusiasts themselves) test their products all over the state, in some of the country’s harshest weather—the CEO uses Minus33 merino wool in his hunting apparel, and the Senior Vice President in his mountain biking gear. Today, a century later, the company continues to operate on the grounds of its original mill site.
