The best sellers from a company with more than 100 years of textile manufacturing experience, the Minus33 midweight crew tops and bottoms can be worn as a base layer for cold-weather adventures—or as an outer layer on crisp autumn days. Both are made from 18.5-micron merino wool for breathable warmth, with a 230 g/m2 interlock-knit construction for added durability. Flatlock seams prevent chafing and keep you comfortable when you’re on the move. The top is named for New Hampshire’s Ossipee Mountains, while the bottoms are named for the Franconia Range further north.
Note: At checkout, choose the Ossipee top or the Franconia bottoms. Both items are available in Black and Charcoal Gray in XS – XXL.
Merino wool keeps you warm in cold weather and cool in warm weather. Along with offering extra UV protection, it prevents overheating and clamminess by absorbing and releasing vapor. Plus, it’s naturally antibacterial and odor-resistant, so you can stretch an extra day (or two) out of your top when needed.
Founded in Ashland, New Hampshire in 1916, Minus33 makes high-quality performance apparel for outdoor enthusiasts. The staff (a bunch of outdoor enthusiasts themselves) test their products all over the state, in some of the country’s harshest weather—the CEO uses Minus33 merino wool in his hunting apparel, and the Senior Vice President in his mountain biking gear. Today, a century later, the company continues to operate on the grounds of its original mill site.
