WaahWell, the table mat is 30" deep and my table top is ~25.25". Either 4" overhangs the back or front, or it gets cut down. I'd rather have the bottom 4" cut off, if anything, as that gets rid of some logos and is the point of least focus on the table mats. Unfortunately the table mats tend to have Planeswalker faces right over where monitors would be placed over, so that's a reason to try to cut off the bottom so it doesn't overhang in front, and so the graphic isn't covered as much on the top by monitor stands or cables.
Which is why if someone just made a plain black table mat in the same size, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I have a very wide and deep table for my computer, by most standards, and I currently have an XTracPads Ripper XXL that I got a while back, but it has no border stitching to prevent fraying. It currently doesn't fray, but the black mousepad does pick up grime and dirt over time, and I could just wash it and use it elsewhere. All that being said, the XTracPads Ripper XXL is 36" wide (as opposed to the Alioth XXL's 1200mm, or ~47" width), and is a bit shorter in depth compared to the Alioth XXL.
Why do I need/want such a huge desk pad/mouse pad? Well, when I got my table top from Ikea, I actually got a butcher-block style beech countertop. It's heavy, but it's solid wood, and cost a bit more than one of their awful, hollow table tops. It's meant to be cut down to size for installation, and then finished to be used an actual countertop, but I use the entire piece as a single table top. I've never gotten around to actually finishing the table top, and I don't exactly have a power sander to make the work quicker, so I've used huge desk pads to be able to set glasses/cups on my table so it doesn't leave a ring-shaped stain on the table. So having a bigger desk pad is pretty helpful for me.
All that being said, it's $37.74 for the large version, after shipping, and the closest alternative I can find is this at $39.99: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0164KY294/. It's a bit wider at 48" (as opposed to ~47") and a good bit longer in depth, at 24" (as opposed to ~19").
Maybe it's just the advertising, but I've never used a microfiber mousepad surface, but it sounds like that would be pretty neat to get a smoother surface. My current XTracPads XXL has a bit of tooth to it, so over time it tends to shed off skin cells from my wrist as I move my mouse around, leaving lighter areas near my mouse that show usage in between washes.
I'm not a fan of the huge logo though, but at least it's in a gray color, text-only, with a normal font rather than being an obvious white logo + company symbol + stylized text at the corner that can't easily be hidden.
The other option I've considered is getting one of the massive 8ft table play mats that Ultra Pro offers (http://www.ultrapro.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=table%20play%20mat&search_in_description=1&sort=2a&page=1 ~$130!), dealing with having a huge graphic (I mean, I like MtG and all, but there's something to like about having a basic solid color mousepad that isn't a huge graphic), and then having it cut down to my table dimensions (+$ to get it done professionally), which then leaves the edges extremely prone to fraying, and then seeing if I can find a tailor or other textile service place that can sew a protective border around it (+$ to get it done professionally).
