Anyone have a mousepad recommendation for this? This is my first "real" mouse in more than 12 years. I've been using a Logitech M570 trackball, or it's equivalent, "thumb-ball" type mouse, I like it but I keep getting told a regular gaming mouse is better for gaming, who woulda thunk it? It's gonna take a lot of getting used to to go back to a regular mouse.
So, yeah, any mousepad recommendations would be appreciated as I haven't had to use one for a dozen years.

joenewbieIf you can wait, there will be another drop of Mionix's own mousepads/mousemats at some time. Until then, I suggest you go and grab a Steelseries Qck mousemat. That's what I'm using right now. I have 2 of those, one is mini size, the other is medium. At that price, you can't go wrong. And it's really portable (and pretty durable, so far). It is a great starter. After that, you will be able to see if you want more of the same, or something different, like bigger, fatter, smoother or harder. Mousepad/mousemat choosing comes down to personal preference. And budget. Start "low", try a bunch of them and see what you like.
ps: I've also used Razer's Goliathus control edition. It's great, too, but it costs double/triple the money of what a Qck does

joenewbiei recommend the Aorus GP-THUNDER P3X Gaming Mouse Pad. it is an extended mouse pad but it comes in different sizes. i own this and the spill resistant feature is incredible. it is also very opaque which is great for your mouse and many others. it has stitched edges that extend its life and an overall great mouse pad

KAPS1M0"...After that, you will be able to see if you want more of the same, or something different, like bigger, fatter, smoother or harder." <--- You're still talking about a mouse pad right? :-)
Thanks for the quick response brotha.

Jordan.13That is a biggun. Wish they would do a Das Keyboard drop, the shorty version so I can save some desk space. I have the medium sized mousepad on my short list. Might pick it up if only because I do like the added build quality of the stitching. Last time I used a regular mouse/pad the things frayed a lot. But back then I used any freebie with any logo I could get.
