I wonder if the pads are detachable. I would like to use my Brainwavz pads on this. Also, did they fix the hissing sound on the microphone? I heard some complaints about the hissing sound.

LakerPrideSince85I did not have any hissing in the microphone, very high quality sound, for as long as it kept working. The mic died about 9 months in. There were also 2 pieces of the headband where it meets the cans that broke off about 2 months in, a year later and the headphones also no longer work..... still trying to work with massdrop and mionix for a fix

MattheweDang, sorry to hear that. I haven't heard much complaints about it dying out or breaking like that. But I heard more about the skin peeling and the hissing sound on the mic. You gave me more to ponder about, good thing there's 10 more days before the drop ends. I hope they replace yours since it broke in 9 months. It came from the Manufacturer, there should be a Warranty or the CA Lemon Policy since MD headquarters is located in San Fran.

LakerPrideSince85oh yes it is definitely peeling, all over the body and the leatherette skin on the ear cups. I hope so too but I have no expectations either way. If they fix or replace, they will have a customer for life though as the quality while working was amazing and near pro level quality
