I guess I'm missing the point. You buy a keyboard that doesn't have the numpad, only to buy the numpad. Plus, it's crazy expensive.

psicloneKeyboards with numpads get in the road of my mouse. Actually anything larger than 60%, kind of tempted to go 40%...

psicloneGives you more options with your keyboards. Can retain a numpad if you really need one, and use a variety of other types of any format you like. This being something related to the Mistel split keyboad that recently dropped, it should be noted that there isn't a great way to mount a numpad to an ergonomic board of that nature, or generally any ergo keyboard.
Also, pretty easy to place this numpad elsewhere on a desk, rather than filling the space in front of you. Or even for left-handed individuals who don't really have any good options for southpaw 104U keyboards.

psicloneKeyboards with numpads are the absolute worst. No idea how that's even a thing.
Also, tbh, most will probably use it as a macropad not a numpad. If you're not an accountant a numpad is counter-productive. You type sentences with numbers faster by never leaving home row.

TelFiREYep, I am very pleased to have retrained myself on the number row after my switch to 60% boards a few months ago.

TelFiREYeah, I use my Ducky Pocket for inputting non-electronic invoices. Reprogrammed the second layer to software-specific most-used commands so I can write notes with my right (or use the mouse) and use the pad for input with my left. That and keep the primary with the [00] key starting up a calculator so I can copy/paste the result if needed. Otherwise there's that built in calculator on the Pocket if I do not need to copy/paste.
Having a standalone reprogrammable multifunctional numpad is a godsend for my uses.
