Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. Try the $80 Cyberdrive version if you're not sure about these. They should probably have a similar sound, but might have different tuning. Bed Bath and Beyond has a great return policy, if you end up not liking them. Also make sure to pad roll/burn them in.
To be fair, the CD had built in battery powered amps. Most likely class D. That isn't the same tech as the daps, amps, and components I use the M&J with. They even had built in eq presets. The M&J were more involving for me.
My GL2 needed considerable time to break in. Please be patient with them. They will reward with beautiful sound.
