Overcast DSA Custom Keycap Set Discussions | Drop

Dear customers,
Please be aware that the kits will come with the exact keycaps that are being displayed on each child deal's image. I'm talking about legends (not font/size). The Planck kit, for example, doesn't include arrow keys in its render. Therefore, the Planck doesn't come with arrow keys. Arrow keys are included on the 1337 Kit.
If you want to match the mockups that I did with your real keyboard, please, make sure that you are getting all of the kits that you are going to need.

MiTo @Lyqu1d lets talk gamer keyboards for just a sec. Specifically a layout for the Logitech G710 and Corsair Kx0 series. As I'm sure you know, the G710 has been hitting the market with specials and like me, many have bought in.
a) Would you please create a mockup layout for the G710? In the spirit of using this to highlight a gamer's utopia, I think it would only be right to demo a layout so that those in the community with a G710 who are interested can join this groupbuy.
b) Would you please provide a layout design as well for the Corsair K70 or K90?
Thank you so much and congrats to you on an awesome concept, this will be a hit like the layouts from LivingSpeedbump and Matt3o, it takes a lot of decision making to undertake a design and I think great designers like yourself are pulling it off once again.

JediI can mock both a G710 and K70 for you - please stand by.
Due to their non-standard bottom-row, the addition of 2 x blank kits to your cart is recommended, as it features 4 x 1u, 4 x 1.5u and 4 x 2u keycaps.

JediAlright, here are your renders - I tried my best to replicate their features.
It's not perfect, but gives an idea. Right now, this layout is what you can achieve with the keycaps that are being provided in the current drop. I'll check with Massdrop the possibility of adding a non-standard bottom row for these layouts, with the regular legends, to the drop.
If they concede permission, such kit will be available for purchase by Tue/Wed.

MiToLyqu1d, you are a genius. Will Massdrop tell you how many of these modifiers have already been ordered? This is truly an impressive layout and one that (based on the 1337 additions alone) should go down in the hall of keyboard fame for its unique and amazing designs. I hope @Matt3o includes this design in the keypuller database.
For everyone with a gamer's keyboard like the Corsair and Logi (company changed its name lol), JUMP ON THIS DROP! So many great keysets, but ONLY THIS ONE includes the gamer profiles for the hard core gamer enthusiast.
Shifting gears a minute. DSA is a "low profile" keycap. SA is a higher sitting profile. The problem is that Filco and Logi have thick bases and the keycaps sit low.
Boards like Varmilo's VA87MR https://www.massdrop.com/buy/varmilo-va87mr?s=varmilo and Vortex's Pok3r https://www.massdrop.com/buy/vortex-poker-iii-compact-keyboard?s=poker have the profile keyswitch level with the base which the DSA profile would work very well with.
@kunulkumar, @Lyqu1d would you consider SA and if so, how do we start the Interest Check (IC) following this drop?

A0.CYeah, sorry, was jumping around on the forums as usual. Good catch, I edited the post. Thanks! I had picked up the DSA Dolch set from https://www.massdrop.com/buy/dsa-dolch-key-set?s=dolch The Majestouch-2 board: http://www.amazon.com/Filco-Majestouch-2-Keyboard-FKBN104M-EMU2/dp/B005J938VK The DSA caps look like they are sunk low into the keyboard. My personal take on it is that the profile for the Filco and the Logi board really need to have the higher keycap. I even added O-Rings which help to lift the cap above the plate cover, but didn't know enough at the time when I was getting started.

JediHey @Jedi, thanks for the feedback and support! We did considered SA pretty seriously, but at the end of it we couldn't provide anything close to this kind of customization with any profile other than DSA. For people who just wanted a good looking keyset @Lyqu1d designed the set to be as modular as possible, but we also wanted to allow for the more serious gamer to have their custom keybindings as an option and DSA was the only one that could do that.

MakamiThanks @Makami, the Dolch is an alternative even the one I like really is the Granite. The DSAsublimated is not the same in typography neither color... :(( Anyway thank you for your info!
