It literally says the MSRP is 38.96, why would you pay more?

Guy76767Because this product has risen above MSRP. See my post above for a price comparison from the last time they did this drop. Prices on the sites are probably a dollar or two higher.

Just got my two bundles. I lost the pack lottery hard: pretty much all bulk (5/6 rares under $1.50) and duplicate Earwig squads. That should teach me not to gamble on loose packs :(

Why is this $57.99 + $5 S&H, when MSRP says it's $38.96? I expect a $39 MSRP, since 3 Modern Masters boosters is $30, 80 sleeves costs roughly $7, and add a little extra for the box and dividers, but why the jump to $58?

Frostwhisperlike what was said above you, these packs are rare and out of print, even when they were in print they were selling for above MSRP value. you'd be hard pressed to find packs for under 20$ online (currently trending amazon at ~22$ before S&H) so 3 packs here plus box and sleeves is well worth the price.
