dillonj98Sorry buddy, I'm a TTPOD owner, and the build quality of the SS01 is better by far. Moe audio is the OEM of many popular JVC IEMS, so they know what they're doing when it comes to building earphones. The TTPODs are simply a cheap mess. It has zero strain relief, and the cable is flimsy junk that tangles like no tomorrow. Not to mention that the SS01 is a dual driver design while the TTPOD is only a single driver. Don't let that flashy earpiece fool you, the TTPOD is anything but well built.
DinerenblancTTPOD is dual drivers; their non-microphone models have a thicker, plastic cables that don't tangle nor tear like rubber cables; and sound amazing for $30. You might have had bad experiences with yours, I guess, but mine I got on the last drop are pretty damn good. I'd love to give these a try as well, though.
My only gripe with this one and the TTPOD is that I usally wear my IEM's over my ears and these ones don't allow me to do so due to their sheer size. I guess you sacrifice that for the given soundstage.
MeowmixingThanks for the correction. I still believe the cable on the TTPOD to be piss poor though. The lack of strain relief is really doing a number on the point where the cable joins the housing. The constant bending around that area has weakened it considerably. You can see the stress building up on the cable. This is coming from someone who only used it a few times at home.
