Great news, we went through our bank records and it looks like the initial wire of money that we sent to Japan Blue bounced and is back in our account. We were specifically looking for a transfer from Japan Blue, but since they didn't effectively receive the funds, they never needed to send them back. So we're all settled on this side of the business.
Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop.
I'm still waiting for you guys to actually send an email to me informing me that the order has been cancelled, and to update me whether I'll still be getting my $10 credit. I blame this whole situation on Momotaro but I do expect an email telling me what's going on rather than having to rely on me checking on this discussion here.
If I didn't bother to check here, I would have had no knowledge that the order was cancelled. This point that no email update has been sent was raised previously but no one from Massdrop acknowledged it; I don't see what's so difficult....?
pingpongplayaEmail just got sent pingpongplaya. I agree MD should have sent an email status updates as soon the decision was made to refund was made as I assume most users do not check the discussion board after they order.
MD got really screwed over here by Japan Blue and Momotaro (do they have the same parent company?), they flat out lied about the jeans being shipped in Japan Blue's case and still didn't refund MD? I'm definitely not going to buy jeans from either of these labels ever again as they sound shady as hell.
When and how will I know if momo goes throught with the deal or I get a refund?
Also my profile says I haven't made any transactions but I obviously did this so how to I contact massdrop to figure it all out?

Processing refunds asap, an official email to the funders and keeping some paper trail would be the right thing to do. I had to search for this message board to even find out this was canceled.
