This model did not score well on Amazon and from reviews recorded, you need to take it to a jeweler to change the battery. Bummer. I love Mondaine but it looks like they missed the mark on this one.

Interesting, even searching for the actual model number, this does not show up on Amazon. How did you find reviews there?

Try typing this in Amazon's "search." Mondaine A660.30318.81SBB Magnet Watch. Exactly the same timepiece.....its called a "magnetic" and comes in several designs.....globe, metal desk clock and the one MD has here. Hope this helps. Also, if you go to Mondaines web page you'll see them there.
