So, my watch arrived yesterday.
- Yes, it comes in a box with big "Helvetica1" on it, but due to the styling (there are many words in background and some of them are highlighted in red), I think it is just a standard box for Mondaine watches now (look up unboxings on youtube from as far back as 2016) and does not refer to Helvetica models specifically, so no error here.
- Yes, the dial is slightly different than pictured as discussed below, but I wouldn't even notice if it weren't discussed here before :)
- The watch looks and works great, buuuuut...
It arrived with a small hair or a piece of thread on the dial under the crystal at 6 o'clock position! It is hard to see that directly (white on white), but the shadow it casts is visible under any artificial lighting or sun and is quite disturbing. Mondaine's QC must s**k big time to let a watch like this out of factory...

I have contacted Massdrop and now I'm weighing my options, even if they take the watch back or replace it, there was import tax and will be again. Locally, there are no good watchmakers and I'm contemplating on fixing it myself, but I don't want to screw up a totally new watch given that it does not have the traditional screw-on or press-on caseback (there are screws) and the crown is a rotating button, so no idea on how to release it to lift the movement with dial. Not touching it until Massdrop gets back to me, but do you guys have any suggestions what to do?
