For anyone wondering about the movement, here is a photo of mine. Notice that it is indeed marked "Swiss Made".

The black version doesn't look bad at all!
...but I guess everyone's here for the authentic "swiss railway clock"-look
I wonder if this watch has the back light hands?
tomlaw
Yes it does. Works pretty well on a white dial.
White PLZ
Unfortunately, no response from massdrop so I’m filling a complaint with PayPal.
I was planning to get this but after finding out the white is sold out and read a few negative review got me hesitant. I don't know about this brand but have no luck with the Seiko I've bought.

Hi, my Seiko SSC24X Chronograph Solar Watch button A got stuck after about 6 months, bought in Nov last year and my Seiko "Sea Urchin" SNZF Watch was actually running very fast about an hour gain in a day from the day I got it. That was from last Dec when I got it. Just put aside after following suggestion that I de-magnatise it but no avail.

U r the most unlucky guy. Never play a lottery. I have not had problems like this with watches that are 60- years old let alone recent Seiko.
Please add more of the white ones
Drop is limited to 78 units
and have sold 110....
Avoid Mondaine products they are a scam. Cheap unreliable garbage. I have a wall clock from TArget and it is almost 18 y.o. and never ever had problems It has 2 dollar Chinese movement with AAA battery, works all these years. Mondaine cannot make reliable product if Swiss reputation depended on it.
Don't feel bad . This product is often defective and poorly made. Mondaine is making these in CHina with allegedly German Quartz movements , which is probably untrue. If you check reviews of their watches and wall clocks on AMazon you will notice that they are very unreliable and have a lot of complaints. I live in Switzerland and was planning to get one of these stop and go Wall Clocks in large size until I read all the reviews and realized that Mondaine is just coasting on the fame of REAL Swiss railway clocks while ripping everyone with cheap products.
Can anyone actually confirm 100m water resistance? The last time they did a Stop2Go with the lume on the backside of the hands, the specs said it was only 30m water resistance. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
Swymor
All Stop2Gos on Mondaine's own site have 30 m/100 f listed. https://www.mondaine.com/watches/official-swiss-railways-watch/stop2go/a512-30358-16sbb.html

Then the specs in this drop are incorrect since Massdrop lists water resistance as being 100m. Thanks.
Wow, gone before I received the drop notice.
And the one white one they had is gone. As always.
Is there any warranty for this product? I am asking because I read comments from previous drops saying that there is no warranty card provided
albpara
Doubt it. I participated in the last drop and we were later informed that there was no warranty. Mass Drop made an effort to make it right by allow us to return them if we no longer wanted the watch or given a partial refund if we chose to keep the watch.

They advertised a one year warranty thru massdrop. Here’s my corespondencue so far:
“Thanks for reaching out to Massdrop Community Support. I'm sorry that your product arrived that way. I am forwarding your case over to our Returns team to better assist you.
In order for our Returns team to expedite this process, could you please provide the following:
  • A photo of the packing slip
  • A photo of the shipping labels (on the box/envelope)
  • Photos of any SKU stickers that may be on the product packaging (SKU will begin with MDX-)
They'll be in touch just as soon as they can. We thank you for your patience. If you have any other concerns or additional information to provide, feel free to reply to this email and they'll follow-up with you once they've had a chance to review your case.”
The burden is on me! I wouldn’t buy a watch from them period!
