royalflushya well except e9 and e7 sucks. if you accidently bump into that awkwardly angled e7 loosely supported by the overly spacious dock, several time that is.. you will eventually trash the connector on the e9. AND e7 battery reign as WORST SHIT EVER.

lyrillSorry about your experience with E9 and E7. I don't have the E9, but have an E7 (old version), battery seems fine to me.
As I said, the monoprice product looks like E9. But if you had followed the links and read them, you will find that:
1. There is no dock on the monoprice product.
2. Someone on reddit explained that the outer shell of the monoprice amp uses the same parts as E9, but the internal components are different. Up to you to believe if this is true.

royalflushDefinitely interested in one of those, only available direct from monoprice so it is in my instabuy category if it was on here. Maybe if you start a poll for it along the lines of sub$100 DAC/Amps it could convince them, with the q701 drop there is definitely room for massdrop to capitalise in the momentum.

Only one review I can find so far, on reddit, and reviewer claims it's as good as ODAC/O2. http://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/28pae7/monoprice_desktop_amp_review/
It looks almost the same as the Fiio E9, but another reddit entry says the internals are different.
Monoprice appears to be Massdrop friendly, perhaps a "special price product launch" here would be nice.
