Whether you’re in the market for a new gaming computer or looking to expand your existing platform, you’ll need a case large enough to accommodate a wide range of components with plenty of connections for your peripherals. The perfect base for your new setup, the Monoprice ATX Mid-Tower Case is designed for maximum cooling efficiency, drive capacity, and durability.
When you’re building a high-powered gaming rig, temperature control is one of the highest priorities. Unless you want your brand new video card to melt, you need to manage the temperature inside the case with precise air flow or water-cooling. Equipped with five 120 mm cooling fans with dust filters, the case also comes with space ready for water-cooling, an additional 120 mm fan, or 80 or 90 mm fans for each internal drive bay. Thanks to the grouped fan speed control, temperature control is a breeze.
Able to fit all ATX and Micro ATX motherboards in the eight expansion slots, the ATX Mid-Tower Case uses large thumbscrews to mount three 5.25” optical drive bays or plastic mounting trays to mount up to eight internal 3.5” and 2.5” drive bays. To fit even the largest video cards, the chassis provides 11.8” of VGA clearance, but can easily expand up to 16.9”.
Punched from 0.8 mm thick heavy duty steel, the black case features contrasting LED lighting as well as a transparent side panel. Up top, the control panel contains LED, power, and reset switches, as well as two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, a 1/8” headphone jack, a 1/8” microphone jack, and a card reader. To make sure your gaming rig sounds and looks as great as it performs, the Monoprice ATX Mid-Tower Case comes with anti-vibration rubber rings, a motherboard speaker, hook-and-loop cable ties, wire cable ties, and a support bracket for longer video cards.
