Update after owning for three months: it's broken.
I was driving along today, and the tiny plastic hinge that the flipper pivots on (that controls the suction against the glass) snapped, sending my phone flying. After seeing how weak that pivot was, I'm actually amazed it's held up as long as it did; this seems like such a basic failure that I can't recommend this mount to anyone.
One other downside that someone else mentioned: charging shuts down when too much heat is applied, such as when the device is in full view of the sun. Unfortunately, that's all the time: the whole point is to attach it to the windshield, exactly where things are going to get pretty hot. If yours doesn't break, you should at least try to position it so that it's getting a bit of airflow over it (from the car's fans, or something else).
My original "just got it" review was:
Worked perfectly for me; the phone (a Samsung Galaxy S7 with a Diztronic case) detects the charger almost immediately upon resting it in the cradle, holds the phone firmly, and shows no sign of letting go of the windshield.
Only downside I can think of is that the cigarette lighter charger has a pair of blue LEDs that are just ridiculously overdone. I'm planning on tucking the wiring away and hard-wiring the charging cable, so it's less of an issue for me. If you're really worried about aesthetics, you might want to swap the charging cable with a more standard cigarette lighter USB charger and an ordinary USB cable.

Mine has lasted 5 months now, better and longer than any other I have tried. Very sturdy build with strong suction cup and thick flexible wire neck. It is a breeze to use, with push button release of the clamps, and a base that stays stuck down.
