It's almost the same price I can get in my country but a little bit more expensive .
Doesn't really have any discount.
Really disappointed with the pricing.
Pooh to this Bourgeois crap, give me the White Walkers! Only one color ink allowed - blue
It will go well with my dog:
I think searching on internet, especially European vendors can get a better price, without the book.
i personally dont see $50 of value in the book
Westeros only available in Fine and Medium? I really wanted Extra Fine or Broad.. but Fine.. I'll get Fine just to get the pen and swap nibs later. It's a shame that they chose Moleskine for their notebooks. Leuchtturm or Rhodia would have been better.
What no Frey edition?
Any upadates? The original ship date was Nov 15, and the status is still at "order placed with vendor."
One person from the Fountain Pen Network FB group shared that he received his drop couple of weeks ago. He indicated he joined the drop in October, which is the same one I joined. I haven't received mine. Has anyone else received his/hers?
If one prefers the line width of japense fine, would the fine or extra fine nib be a good choice here?

extra fine
I used to think gold nibs are always better. Hence, I have a good collection of pens with gold nibs. Over time, I've come across steel nibs that write so smoothly that one would think they're gold (Franklin Christoph, Italix, Diplomat Soft Touch, etc.). So, I've learned to be more open-minded about steel nibs. With these pens though, it looks like the premium is for the artistry and licensing costs with the GOT franchise, which you can't appreciate unless you're a hardcore GOT fan. I happen to be one, so I went ahead and ordered the Targaryen pen. I've been looking at these pens and this price is the best I've seen.

I do agree, this is the best price I've seen for these pens, especially considering they come with a licensed Moleskine notebook.

And I know what you mean about gold v. steel nibs. The nib on my pelikan M205 is at least as smooth as my lamy studio with a 14k nib. Same is true of my Diplomat Excellence B. I just feel like there's an intrinsic value there in a gold nib that should be included in pens above a certain price point. But I'm open to being wrong.

Ditto, and as a GoT fan I'm open to owning the collection. At times HBO will dish out a 30% code but the normal discounts are normally 20-25% book not included... This is a competitive price.
Never understood these pens. Very pricey for a steel nib. But I guess that's how Montegrappa rolls.

Maybe they're Valyrian steel?

That’s what I assumed.
