The Monteverde Impressa features a full metal construction that gives the pen some serious weight. A unique feature is its square snap-on cap, which gently transitions from a round barrel into a square to keep from rolling off the table or desk. The weight and length offer solid balance without the cap, and posting the cap makes the pen feel top-heavy for most writers. The cap snaps securely in place to seal off the nib, and the sturdy spring clip opens wide to slip easily into almost any shirt or coat pocket.
