I bought this on a previous drop. It comes with a nice edge. The only drawback I can find is that there is no hole in the handle for a dummy cord. I am not sure how confident I am with the case to keep it in place while walking through brushy areas. For peace of mind, I would like to dummy cord mine so it is not lost. I will probaly end up adding a modifcation to the handle. Otherwise, seems a good buy.

boconormWe put a small loop of 1/8" shockcord through the belt loop of the sheath. I tied mine with a Fisherman's Knot so I can adjust the tension. A friend tied his with a Figure Eight knot so the loop is easier to grab with gloves on. When not planning on using the knife, such as when hiking, slip that loop over the handle. Holds it very securely. When in camp slip the loop off the handle so the knife is easier to draw and replace. Almost a year of hiking through heavy brush many hours each week and we haven't lost one yet.

DuxDawgThat sounds like a decent idea, and obviously proven. I will give it a try. Thanks.
