Not a stellar deal with having to pay for shipping. I prefer, even though I live on the coast, the carbon versions. I bought the last one that was the pro-c. Don't like the short blade, the companion is still the best one for me at the price range of around 15 bucks. If they change it to free shipping like the carbon version was I might reconsider.

Once again, not really a deal. With shipping the lowest MD price is $11.74. Amazon has it for $12.37 through Prime or $11.90 from other sellers. (There may be tax with Amazon depending on where you live, but still, you get it in a couple of days.)

Just one example. You can get it with Priority Mail delivery from eBay for $11.90 (presumably the same third-party seller as offers it on Amazon for that price). That’s less than 1.5% discount and you get it much faster. And even 5% at a dollar value like this isn’t much. Would I wait a while to save 5% off a $200 Spyderco purchase? A lot likelier.

sudevaSome of the savings are small, some are bigger. I got on the last Kizer Guru drop for around $99 I think, helluva deal.
Either way if I buy something on here I try to forget about it, since I won't see it for at least a month typically.
