Do these boots have reinforced toe box, reinforced heel cup, and malleolus (ankle) protection? Is there any Gore-Tex or similar liner for wet weather comfort/protection?
What benefit does this boot bring that is not already provided by boots offered by established mainstream motorcycle apparel companies (ex: Alpinestars Drystar Parlor Boot)?
What we are doing different from every other company is offering a boot that you want to wear all day every day with comfort. Our company is made up of riders and all of us have a closet full of riding boots from adventure (built with gore-tex) to full race (built with polymers) really built for one function. We just simply wanted to make a boot for the ride to work or out around town guy, that looks great and is built to last.
Right.. and alpinestar is now doing Kevlar laces! We put a lot of thought and consideration into the laces. We decided to make them out of a thinner leather so it they were ever to get caught in a gear they will break and the only damage is for us to send you a new pair of laces free of charge.
Not sure why you are having a go at me regarding what Alpinestars is doing. I never made a comparison between your product and theirs. Lose the attitude.
My concerns were more about safety, not "I wonder if I will get replacement laces free of charge hur dur".
Nothing in the description says how your product provides better protection than a bog standard pair of boots.
I am so sorry, no Attitude from my end at all, my apologies. I meant that I totally agreed with you that laces can be dicy while riding for safety reasons. I was trying to relate because I had the same concern when I saw Alpinestar and their patented Kevlar laces. My bad for the miscommunication.
i have no idea why you thought MotoBailey was "having a go at you". he was just trying to enthusiastically share some info and you went off on him.
and then he has the decency to apologize to you. you should apologize to him lol.
