MorgozlanThis is made with Goose Down.... so yes, it is animal material. If you don't want any animal material, don't buy anything with the word 'down' in it (unless it specifically says 'alternative down' or 'a down alternative'); good luck with your search and synthetic jackets aren't necessarily worse warmth wise as down, they just don't pack down as much as weigh a LOT more.

MorgozlanDamm dude, you got me thinking now , i recently turned vegan (2 months) and although i currently dont eat meat products , just realized i own a lot of dead animal material , oh well i sure aint getting rid of my EE quilt lol.
